By using this Site, placing an order with us, you are indicating your acceptance of the following terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions"). The Terms and Conditions shall supplement any subsequent terms or conditions included with any purchase order, whether or not such terms or conditions are signed by us. We reserve the right to make changes to this Site and these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Placing Orders

Please note: As our sugar products and cakes are made by hand to order, there may be an occasion when our normal delivery time may go outside our usual 10 day turnaround. We will notify you if it looks like this will be the case with your order or part thereof. If you have a specific date requirement for your order, please let us know in the comments box when placing your order.

- Special treats by Carolyn Online store may vary prices for received orders in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers. In the case of price increases, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Special Treats by Carolyn with in 2 days of the price increase notification.

- To minimise errors and improve efficiency, orders should be placed using our online ordering system whenever possible. Other ordering methods include e-mailing our sales or submitting your order by fax: 03 9764 8388

- Orders can be picked up at Special Treats by Carolyn in Knoxfield after a confirmation email notifying you we have all products in stock. This is to prevent unnecessary travel to the shop and any delays that may occur.

Payment

- All credit card purchases made on through the Special Treats by Carolyn Online Store are processed via a secure server and all transactions are guaranteed to be of a secure nature. All information submitted during the checkout process is protected using GeoTrust QuickSSL® and all data is encrypted up to 256-bit SSL encryption through this secure gateway.
- The Special Treats by Carolyn Online Store only accepts Direct Deposit and Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) as methods of payment.
- When doing a direct fund transfer or direct deposit into our account, please include the Net order ID as the deposit reference. Please Fax or Email verification of direct deposit.
- All prices shown in the Special Treats by Carolyn Online Store are in Australian Dollars and transactions will be charged in this currency. Prices include GST.
 

Shipping and Shipping Costs

- Special Treats by Carolyn deliver products Australia wide using Australia Post, however at this time we DO NOT accept international orders through our website. Please contact us on  (+61 3) 9764 1188 from outside Australia to enquire about a special order.

- Allowance of up to 10 days should be given for products to be shipped following receipt of payment from the customer. Customers will be notified when their product has been shipped. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment. Special Treats by Carolyn will dispatch orders within 2 business days and shipping times are estimated between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.

- If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or full refund.

- Fixed shipping costs quoted on the website are for products shipped within Australia, shipping costs to countries other than Australia will be calculated by Special Treats by Carolyn in addition to the fixed shipping cost quoted in the online store.

- Special Treats by Carolyn will advise customers from outside of Australia the cost of shipping to their location before any additional charges are applied.

- All prices displayed on this website do not include shipping costs; shipping costs are calculated at the time of checkout and will be displayed at that point in the purchasing process.

- We charge a flat rate of AUD $10 for every order up to 3kg in weight, customers will be advised by Special Treats by Carolyn if their order incurs a higher shipping  cost.

Customer Service Policy

- If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or full refund.

- Special Treats by Carolyn is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products are listed on our website are in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-10 business days.

Refund / Return Policy  

- Cakes, ingredients and chocolate are perishable products, products of this nature cannot be returned.

- If Special Treats by Carolyn has made a mistake with your order we will re-send the correct item free of charge and you are free to keep your original item.

- Special treats by Carolyn is pleased to suggest the suitability of products to be used to create recipes included on the website, however we cannot guarantee that you will possess the skills to achieve results exactly as they appear in pictures on the website. We take no responsibility if your creations do not meet the standard of those shown on the website.

- We take all necessary precautions to pack your order for safe and successful delivery.  As we rely on 3rd party providers for deliveries we are unable to guarantee its condition upon arrival.  In the event that a product is damaged or broken upon arrival and you wish to re-purchase that item, we will send it to you freight free of charge and apply a 10% discount of the selling price of the item.

- Special Treats by Carolyn will not accept the return of items if you simply change your mind. Products can only be returned if they are faulty or are not fit for purpose.
